Here is a book I found in Waterstones which caught my eye. Inside is all about the process of designing type and using it in context in new exciting ways. This being one of my aims I found this to be a really eye opening read, theres also a lot of great colour combinations inside, its really worth a look!

  

" Oh Comely" and "Kinfolk" have always been two of my favourite magazines. This being down to their minimalistic yet engaging use of compositions inside. They don't feel the need to fill up every white space with imagery but inside find ways to use the space to create a clean cut, satisfying read.

lunch lady

Here is some type from the magazine "Lunch lady". I love the playful use of composition throughout this magazine it really makes me want to experiment more with type image and space. I also love the use of bright colours which match the playful tone of this magazine perfectly. I defiantly want to look into more editorials as this is the field i''d love to go into :)
